I’m Jarred Sleeth.
I’ve been a real estate investor since 2013. Over the years, that has taken me through rentals, flipping, wholesaling and private lending — and eventually into building Wholster, the real estate software company I lead today.
It wasn’t a path I planned. Real estate changed the trajectory of my life more than once, ultimately giving me more control over my work, my time, and what I choose to do with both.
The path changed when I chose one.
For a long time, I knew I wanted to build a different kind of life, but I wasn’t entirely sure what that looked like. Real estate caught my attention partly because there wasn’t just one way to do it. There were dozens of paths inside the same industry, and each one seemed capable of leading somewhere different.
By 2016, I decided real estate wasn’t going to be something I did on the side anymore. I walked into a local investor meetup with the intention of finding a way to make it my career.
A few weeks later, I was testing the waters working with a local hard-money lender. A few months after that, I left my full-time job.
That decision changed the trajectory of my life. It eventually took me through investing, lending, entrepreneurship, a move across the country, and ultimately into building Wholster.

Wholster started in 2018 with a simple idea: make it easier for investors and wholesalers to move deals while giving buyers better access to inventory.
Since then, the product has grown into something much broader — a platform for finding opportunities, reaching active buyers and bringing deals to market.
The business and team continue to grow, and with that growth, the vision for where Wholster goes next keeps expanding.
I seem to collect hobbies.
Music, photography, motorsport, film, travel, fitness — I’ve accumulated a lot of interests over the years. I like having enough room in my life to keep doing them, and to pick up whatever comes next.
I never really believed life had to follow the default path. Most of what I’ve built came from wanting more freedom to choose what my life actually looks like.Jarred Sleeth
